How Do I Place an Order?
Call your Yancey’s sales consultant with your order, if they are not scheduled to take your order in person. You may leave the order on voicemail. You should have set delivery days and times prior to your first order. Please order for these days. Please allow a two-hour time window for your delivery. Please be prepared to provide the following information when you place your order:

Yancey’s item number or specific product description (order guides recommended).

Your Yancey’s sales consultant can provide the following types of order guides. You may use either of these guides when placing orders.

Order History

Customized guide that mimics your operation.

Quantities - Be sure to specify ‘each’ when you want a partial case.

Minimum orders are $350.00. Orders under $500.00 may be subject to a $5.00 fuel surcharge.

Additional deliveries may be subject to a fee.
Please place orders by 4:00pm for delivery the following day.
What Do I Do When I Receive My Order?
We recommend inspecting product upon delivery and storing immediately to enhance food safety and shelf life.

Please instruct the driver where to place product.

Inspect each item and the invoice for accuracy and quality.

Sign the invoice presented to you by the driver.

Call your sales consultant promptly if any items were shorted or need to be replaced that same day.
What is your Credit/Return Policy?
Full credit will be issued under the following circumstances:

An item is shorted by Yancey’s or is found to be unusable at the time of delivery.

The driver will deduct the dollar amount off the invoice total. Please pay the adjusted total.

An item is found to be unusable after delivery.
-
Call your sales consultant. The item will be picked up at your next delivery and the driver will give you a return receipt. Upon approval, an actual credit invoice will be generated and delivered to you by the driver or your consultant within one week.

To guarantee a credit, please return the product in its original packaging.

What If I Need an Item today?
Call your sales consultant directly if you are in need of product right away.

If emergency was caused by our error, we will replace product that day.
-
If emergency was a mis-order, product may not be able to be replaced until the following day.

Emergency deliveries due to customer’s miss-orders may have a delivery fee.
What do I do if I can't find a Product on your Product list?
Yancey’s welcomes special orders.

Every special order item will require some lead-time.
-
Items will be shipped on your first regularly scheduled delivery after our warehouse receives the items.
-
Special order product descriptions will include a # sign indicating the item is special order and may not be in stock.
What is your Holiday schedule?
To better service our customers, Yancey’s Food Service is only closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. We are open until 12:00 (noon) on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day and Christmas Eve. Delivery schedules remain the same on half-day Holidays.
Do You have a Will-Call?
Yancey’s Food Service is open for Will Calls Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm, and Saturdays from 8am – Noon.

If necessary, call 970-613-4333 X 360 for directions to Yancey's Food Service.

Please allow 45 minutes for your order to be pulled.

Signs in Yancey’s parking lot will direct you to the Will Call dock.

Enter the Will Call area; call the extension on the sign in the lobby to notify the customer service representative that you are here for your Will Call.
Loading personnel will bring your order and invoice. Check quantities prior to signing the invoice.
What steps do I need for paying my bill?
If you have assigned credit terms:

You will be provided a statement if you are on terms.

Please compare your invoices to this statement.

Please note any adjustments that were made to your invoices.

Please pay your consultant directly if possible.

NSF fee of $55.00 per occurrence.

If terms are not maintained, your account may be subject to COD delivery.

If payment concerns arise, please communicate with your sales consultant promptly.
What do I need to know about pricing?
Produce and grocery prices may increase or decrease from time to time. Produce prices primarily remain set for a full week (Monday through Saturday), although in extreme circumstances can change on Thursdays. Grocery prices primarily change weekly on Fridays.
What kind of guarantee do I have?
100% money back guarantee if the product is not useable within its acceptable shelf life.
What do I do in case of a product recall?
Yancey’s will provide you with instructions if a product delivered by us is subject to a recall.
Do you have instructions for your phone system?
When you dial our main numbers, 970-613-4333 or 866-926-2397, you will receive an automated menu with the following options:

To place an order or to leave a message for your Yancey’s representative, please press “1”. Your call will be routed to your Food Consultant’s voicemail.

To place a Will Call order, please press “2”

If you know your party’s extension or wish to dial by name, please press “3”

For all other calls, please press “0” and someone will assist you
This automated menu is being implemented to better serve you. In particular, your call will be routed in a more timely manner. You will no longer need to speak to our Receptionist and then be transferred to the person you need to speak with.
Providing excellent customer service is important to us. If, at any time, you need to speak with a live person, you will have the option to press “0” and your call will be routed to our Receptionist.
If you are currently dialing your Food Consultant on their direct number, this change will not impact you. Please continue to utilize your Food Consultant’s direct number. This is the preferred method for reaching your Yancey’s representative.
What if my delivery is late?
It is Yancey's policy to call a customer if we anticipate the delivery will be more than 1 hour late.
